Just a heads up: I DID NOT DRAW THIS!!!!!!!! THIS WAS DONE VIA A MAKER ON DEVIANTART SO I COULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO DRAW MY PONY!!!!!!!!!

*ahem* Sorry, just had to do that disclaimer. Anyway, this is a pic of my pony-sona Crystal Dream. Now, the colors might change in the future depending on how I feel about it, but other than that, this is pretty much it. XD

...yeah...I like My Little Pony: FiM, and this pic was randomly doodled thanks to a random conversation I had with someone on DeviantArt. =w= The one that's upside down that crashed into a tree is me in my pony form while the male pony standing nearby is the other user that I had been talking to. XD

I'm going to be posting random chibis that I draw here whenever I can--or if I think about it. XD

These two belong to some friends of mine, and they requested chibi versions of their characters, so here's what I got~! X3

Chibi Drawing Guide

Here's the little guide along with a pic of a character my friend wanted me to draw, since she wanted me to teach her how to draw Chibis. Since I currently lack the skillz to make a fancy tutorial, you'll just have to deal with a lot of words for now. ^_^;

HERE WE GO!!!

Before we begin, these are the things you need to consider.

1) Choose the character. Sometimes it's best if they're not too complex, but if you feel confident in your abilities, then choose whatever character you want.
2) POSE AND EXPRESSION!! What is your chibi going to do? What situation are they going to be in?
3) Clothes. What are they wearing? Do they have little accessories?
4) K.I.S.S.--that means "keep it simple stupid". And that's what you should do...minus the insult. XD It's a chibi drawing, so everything's going to be simple compared to the normal character.

Now that that's out of the way, let's get on with the actual drawing~! : D

1) Draw the head. Make it ROUND-ISH and pudgy, like a little kid's face. If the head is normally pointed or has sharp edges, just soften them up a little and round off the tips/edges.
2) Now that you've got the head, you can either continue with the body or go ahead and sketch out the hair, eyes, nose and such. Again, use simple shapes/forms. Be sure to give the chibi wide eyes like this one above. Look up examples to see what you can do~!
3) When it comes to the body, you want to make it proportioned to the head. Here's the thing: the chibi's body is going to be squatter than its normal body is, so long arms and legs will be shortened. Again, keep it simple with the hands. You can either just shorten the fingers, or make them have "mitten hands" like Chi does in here.
4) Clothes. This is where you make them as simple as you can while still making sure people still know what it is. The same goes for any accessories!

And other than coloring, that's really the basic stuff on how to draw chibis~! X3 Sorry about the wordiness guys! D: Once I figure out how to do a tutorial, I'll probably redo this.

YAAAAAAAAY!!! :D This is my little OC from my Nightwish story called Kira! Ain't she sweet? X3 Yes, the first two she has two different eye colors, but the dollmaker I used to do these didn't allow me to do one eye color over the other, and she's supposed to have both colors. :(

Oh, and just to remind you in case you didn't catch it: I DID NOT DRAW THIS!!! DX< I made it from a dollmaker on dolldivine.com so that I could have a better idea on how I would want to draw her in the future.

...I love her kitty hat, which is indeed in the story too~! X3

The name's Lauren, but I've gone through many different pen names. A lot of people know me as "G'reth the Air Dragon" on Fanfiction, and others know me as Anveena-Zhava on DeviantArt. I'm also called "Wind-Rider of Le-Koro" on a great Bionicle site called bzpower, but I might just change that one of these days once they get it back up! XD

Anyway, I'm probably gonna use this blog for anything I have that's Bionicle related or related to my stories and people can't go to DeviantArt because some IDIOTS decided they wanted to put viruses on such a great site. *grumbles darkly* So, I hope I become a little more active here and I hope to post a lot of art stuffs! :D *hugs everyone*
